My Story

I love walking down the streets of Singapore or Taiwan and people watching. There’s such a calm feeling that observing the world around me and studying facial expressions or body language brings to me. Sometimes when I’m really stressed and need to decompress, I’ve bring myself out and plug in my earpieces while exploring fragrance shops. I believe that our sense of smell is a crucial part that contributes significantly to the way our mind and body forms memories.

I spent a long time during university deciding whether to embark on this path as a counsellor. As a psychology and communication student, I’ve always been fascinated by how our interactions with the world—especially with one another—shape our experiences, emotions, and sense of self. The way we connect, communicate, and navigate relationships can profoundly impact our mental well-being, sometimes in ways we don’t even realize. Understanding this deepened my curiosity about how people process their emotions, cope with challenges, and find meaning in their struggles.

Originally, I was passionate about working with youths and had envisioned myself as a teacher—a guiding figure who could journey with students and be a source of support in their times of need. However, as I explored further, I realised that my passion for mental health extended beyond just one demographic. Mental and emotional well-being is something that affects everyone, regardless of age or background. I strongly believe that everyone deserves access to a safe space where they can be heard, understood, and supported without fear or judgment.

Life moves fast, often too fast for us to fully process our emotions or even recognise the weight we carry. In a world where mental health struggles are still met with hesitation and stigma, I want to be someone who helps make counselling more approachable and accessible. My hope is to walk alongside you on your journey of self-awareness, healing, and growth—to help you unpack your thoughts, confront fears you’ve been avoiding, and discover new strengths within yourself.
