My Story
I have always felt a deep connection to working with young people. With nearly 10 years of experience in youth work and volunteering, I understand the challenges and strengths of this age group. My journey into mental health began during my Nursing Internship at the Institute of Mental Health, where I discovered my passion for counselling. Having walked the path of a young person myself, I believe in the potential within each individual and how we can tap into our inner strengths to grow.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and a Strength-Based Approach—I help my clients recognize and build on their strengths to overcome challenges. I want to create a safe, welcoming space where every emotion is heard and valued, helping my clients feel truly seen and supported.
Outside of counselling, I enjoy singing, dancing, creating art, photography, and diving into psychology books and novels. These creative outlets bring me joy and allow me to connect more deeply with others, bringing warmth and understanding into my practice.
